What is MitID?+
MitID is Denmark’s digital ID, used for services such as online banking and public self-service. UNQVerify uses a MitID flow to provide an age result for your integration.
Can customers use a British or German ID card instead?+
This solution uses MitID. It does not provide a general flow for verifying British or German ID cards. Customers must be able to complete the MitID verification flow.
Do we need to rebuild our checkout?+
WooCommerce stores can use the plugin. With the JavaScript SDK or API, your developers can add verification to your existing customer journey and handle the result in your application.
Can we test before paying for production?+
Yes. Create a free test account and use test keys and MitID test identities. Test verifications are separate from live production usage.
Does using UNQVerify cover every requirement for selling in Denmark?+
Age verification is one part of your setup. Your business remains responsible for choosing the relevant age thresholds, applying the check at the right point and meeting the requirements that apply to your products and sales.
Are prices shown in euros or pounds?+
Prices are listed in Danish kroner (DKK), excluding VAT for paid plans. Pay as You Go costs DKK 2 per verification with no monthly base fee. Basis costs DKK 200 per month, including 100 verifications, with additional verifications at DKK 0.90 each.
